I have to admit, when Grimes first came on the music scene about four years ago with Visions, I wasn't sure if she was my jam. I didn't quite get the appeal and find myself totally okay with leaving her music to my brother and his hipster friends to rock out to at Pitchfork Festival.
Now, however, I can safely say that the tables have turned and with her new music, particularly her latest album Art Angels, I'm finally on the bandwagon. It started when Caleb and I heard "Entropy" at the end of an episode of Girls. The song features Jack Antonoff of Bleachers and is undeniably addicting (real talk: it's been blasted 4/7 mornings in my household for the past two weeks).
Her full-length album is equally great and was praised on many taste maker's Best of 2015 lists. My favorites off the album have been "California" (featured on our Wanderlust playlist) and "Kill V. Maim":
If you haven't yet, be sure to take a listen to the full album on Spotify.
