We're kicking off a holiday series in which we turn to some of our favorite people, around DC and even further, to hear about their favorite winter songs. Whether it's Christmas carol (or an interpretation of one), a New Year's Eve jam, or just a cozy wintery song, we want to hear what everyone is listening to in this festive time of the year.
First up is Molly Majorack, the marketing manager and assistant talent buyer at DC9 and Rock & Roll Hotel. Read Molly's thoughts below!
Little known fact about me: I grew up on country music. So when Clint Black released a Christmas album back in 1995, it became my family's Christmas season go-to. We'd put it on every year while setting up the tree. I know every lyric to "Milk and Cookies." That whole record will never get old to me. I still believed in Santa Claus when the record came out, and who doesn't look back fondly at that time in one's life?
